In phase 1 the start in 2005 EHI Retail Institute/European Retail Academy the AgriBusinessForum was initiated on behalf of the International Green Week of Fair. While the longstreaming East-West Agricultural Forum (EWAF) was oriented to political dialogues at the Berlin Fair by www.agribusinessforum.de
a virtual platform was initiated for permanent information for the supply chain.

The intention is to create more dialogue about the foreign markets by all stakeholders of the Total Supply Chain.
Mission
The AgriBusinessForum is an open platform for a professional dialogue of all stakeholders in the Total Supply Chain with the emphasis on agriculture /agricultural products
By the involvement of the European Retail Academy the Forum raises from pure (virtual or sometimes physical) discussion events to the level of durability. This is underlined by monthly news-letters since July 2005.
The mission of course determines the target-groups of this virtual platform: it contains the stakeholders of the total supply chain as well as scientists – and perhaps for information even politicians or NGOs.
